My work is inspired by my love of nature….the land, sea and sky I am surrounded by every day on Eastern Long Island.
Each painting begins with a moment that takes my breath away, a fleeting glimpse of beauty that I feel compelled to hold onto and share. I’m endlessly fascinated by the play of light as it shifts across water, dunes, fields, and sky—the subtle transitions of color and shadow that evoke both energy and stillness.
Working primarily in oils and acrylics, my goal to translate those quiet, moments into compositions that invite reflection and calm. My process is intuitive and observational, blending realism with a sense of atmosphere to capture the feeling and memory of a scene rather than a literal record.
A graduate of Tyler School of Art, my career has always centered around creativity. From designing textiles and prints for the home fashion industry to working in interior design. Along the way, I’ve grown more attuned to color, pattern, texture, and balance, and how they all work together.
Through my work, I hope to offer viewers a sense of pause—a reminder of the quiet beauty that surrounds all of us, waiting to be seen and felt.
